Geof Scanlon is Co-founder & President of Scanlon & Associates, Inc. He is licensed as a CPA, Registered Rep. (Series 7 & 63) and life and health insurance agent in both Kentucky and Ohio.

Geofs` education and designations include, B.S. Accounting - University of Cincinnati, Chartered Life Underwriter, Life Underwriter Training Counsel Fellow and member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Geofs` social and civic contributions include Kenton County Boys-Girls Club, Transitions, Inc. St. Elizabeth Hospital foundation board, Kentucky & Ohio Chambers of Commerce, Northern Kentucky Mental Health, Senior Citizens of Northern Kentucky, Northern Kentucky Community Center Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky, and Grateful Life Foundation..

Janet Scanlon

Accounting Email Janet Scanlon

Janet Scanlon graduated from Mt. St. Joseph with a degree in paralegal studies. She also has a B.A. degree in Organizational Studies from Northern Kentucky University.

Janet has an extensive medical and legal background. She worked for eight years as a claims examiner for Social Security Disability and as a litigation paralegal with Lindhorst & Dreidame, Attorneys at Law.

In addition to her business commitments, Janet founded the Kenton County Animal Shelter Supporters, a 501C-3 to help homeless pets in our area. She also is an active volunteer with the low cost spay/neuter program in Kenton County.

Brennan Scanlon

Brennan never set out to be an insurance agent. He did set out to help out with the family business. This business just happened to be navigating the ever changing and complex health insurance arena. Sine 1998, Brennan has been helping business owners all over Ohio and Kentucky buy and manage their employee benefit plans. His mission is two fold. Help employers save on premium while handling the daily hassles of benefits administration. Brennan is licensed to broker life, health, and disability insurance and represents over 30 leading insurance companies with access to 22 association health plans. Most recently, Brennan has been designated with the certification of CBC, Chartered Benefits Consultant, which makes him expert in Consumer Driven Health Insurance.

Brennan is a Co-Executive Director for BNI, Business Network Int'l Greater Cincinnati & No KY, as well as a Referral Institute Partner & Trainer. This local region hosts an approximate 1,000 members of 50 individual Chapters. He has been ranked in the Top 10% of Directors nationally three times, this ranking resulting in performance reviews submitted by BNI members. Brennan has also been inducted into BNI's Founder's Circle as nominated by his peers and approved by, Dr. Ivan Misner, Founder of BNI & Chairman of the Referral Institute.

Brennan’s social & civic contributions include the Fundraising Chair for “Melanoma Know More” of Greater Cincinnati and the host of the “Brady Scanlon Memorial Ride to Remember”, an annual motorcycle rally to raise skin cancer awareness in memory of his brother. He resides in Ft. Wright , KY with his wife of nearly two years, Katie and their cat Spaulding.

Kathie Bunch

Kathie graduated from Bellevue High School in 2001. She participated in band and was the secretary for FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America). Kathie was awarded the Work Ethic Diploma in May of 2001 from the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. Before coming to Scanlon & Associates in September of 2006 she worked as a Patient Care Provider at St. Charles Care Center for 6 years. Kathie enjoys spending free time with her 2 daughters and husband.

Suzy Robinson

Suzy has 10+ years of experience in the insurance industry. She has held many different roles and has learned a lot of valuable know-how to assist her in her current position. She enjoys helping clients tackle tough issues and finding a resolution. In her downtime, Suzy enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys participating in and watching sports. She is active in her parish.

Jim Strauss

After completing his MBA at Columbia University, Jim began his career as a Certified Public Accountant and was in practice for ten years. In 1983, he opened a Cincinnati office of broker/dealer Royal Alliance Associates where he serves as Branch Manager. Jim specializes in constructing individual stock and bond portfolios designed to meet the client's goals with particular attention to the tax aspects of investing. A Cincinnati native, he lives in the Columbia-Tusculum neighborhood
